Hello!

My name is Maysn. I am from a small town in southern Wisconsin. Growing up I caught the horse bug and I did whatever it took to get in the saddle. I enjoyed a lot of fun shows & gymkanas, barrel, and pole events. I showed on my high school equestrian team and then got hooked on combined driving sophomore year. I was lucky enough to have a fantastic mentor who let me show her team of 4. It is still to this day one of my favorite experiences and memories!
 

Farrier work didn't capture my interest until a mare that I rode and drove got an abscess so bad that she almost shed her entire hoof capsule. I spent my mornings before and nights after school soaking and hoof-packing her. Chris Gregory forged a handmade mushroom shoe for her and I thought it was the coolest thing ever. Lucky for me he also happened to have a horseshoeing school.  A year later she made a full recovery and is perfectly sound.
After graduating high school in 2019 I then attended Heartland horseshoeing school in Missouri with the Gregorys. It was one of the hardest things I have ever stuck through, mentally and physically. It was also one most rewarding experiences.
I finished horseshoeing school and decided if I was going to succeed I needed to move. I chose to move to Paris Kentucky to start my career, I have called Kentucky home ever since!
